Open Access Statement

The Journal of Research in Computing and Applications (JORCAPS) is committed to ensuring that scientific and technical research is freely and immediately available to the global computing community and the broader public. JORCAPS operates as a fully open-access journal: all peer-reviewed articles are accessible online to every reader upon publication, at no cost and without subscription requirements.

What Is Open Access?

Open Access means that research articles are:

  • Freely available online to all users worldwide, without paywalls or subscription barriers
  • Immediately accessible upon publication, with no embargo periods
  • Freely usable by readers for any lawful purpose, including commercial and industrial applications
  • Properly citeable with full bibliographic information and persistent identifiers
  • Preserved in perpetuity through multiple archival copies

JORCAPS supports the open-access principles set out in the Budapest Open Access Initiative, the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing, and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities.
